“#3 Great Grandpa’s Coat” was inspired by my great-grandpa’s coat, an inter-generational hand-me-down. My mother remembers how as he grew from solid to frail the coat became too heavy. My broad shoulders hold up the leather and wool just fine. And as the collar itched at my neck, these pieces were inspired.
